A short page, because the site does very little. It is a personal aquarium record, not a business, and it is not trying to learn anything about you.
If you send a message through the contact form, the name, email address, subject, category and message you type are stored so I can read and reply to them. Nothing else about you is recorded alongside it.
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server request logs. I do not control the retention of those logs and do not use them for anything.
There is no analytics on this site. No tracking pixels, no advertising network, no third-party scripts following you between pages, and no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from a font provider, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you did.
A session cookie exists, but only on the private side of this application, where I sign in to run the tank. A public visitor is never issued one.
A camera photographs the tank hourly. That archive is deliberately not published, because the camera also sees the room behind the aquarium. The only photograph this public site serves is a labelled full-tank plate.
Messages are not added to any mailing list, because there is no mailing list. If a manufacturer contacts me about equipment, the terms are set out in the evaluation policy, and any discount, loan or supplied product is disclosed on the page it appears on.
